Professional staff are invited to register their interest in attending informal meetings with one or more of the Senators who are external to the University.
The meetings are normally held in the hour before the Senate meeting, in a Chancellery meeting room, facilitated by me. There is not normally a set topic, although suggestions are welcome. The idea is for external Senators to get to know the roles and concerns of general staff a little better (increasing our visibility) and for staff to better understand the role and capacity of the Senate.
