A forecast of an improved normalised accounting result for 2013 to 2015 compared to the 2011 and 2012 results was presented, however the cashflow positions for 2013 to 2015 are predicted to be down in terms of closing cash at the end of each year, compared to recent years, albeit still in the black. Impacts on the 2013 budget include a forecast slowing in tuition fee income growth and in Government funding of indirect research costs. A final budget will be presented in February, once the 2012 end-of-year result is known.
